Recommended The Sony ICD-BM1 is the recorder that
CompuTALK recommends. It has software utilities that work directly with
Dragon NaturallySpeaking. One can download the voice recordings through a
supplied cable that plugs into the USB port of the computer. As an option
one can take the memory chip out of the recorder and place it into the
computer's memory card slot to have the recordings translated. In either
case the computer sees the recordings as a separate drive. The Sony
utility shows all the recorded files. From the list of files one can
translate one, some or all of the listed files through Dragon NaturallySpeaking
to DragonPad or onto your favorite word processing program.
